- A pair of oven mitts
- A Santa hat
- Two dice
- A well-wrapped present
The way the game works is by having the whole family sit around the dining table. One member of the family starts by wearing the oven mitts and Santa hat and attempts to open the present, which is harder than it sounds wearing oven mitts, while the person to their right rolls the two dice continuously until they get a double of any number. When they do, the oven mitts and Santa hat is passed to them and they begin attempting to open the present while the person to their right rolls the dice. This then continues until the gift has been unwrapped by the lucky family member who then gets to keep the gift. This can be repeated with multiple gifts and is great fun.
